Long time no see

Hey all,

Sorry I've been away so long. I wasn't planning on taking a full blown sabbatical, let alone one that lasted so long. I've been busy with a lot of various things, most of which has nothing to do with art. I have started a couple of new projects that look to be turning out really well. I'll have results posted when I'm finished.

Updates and things that are new: 1. my Grandma is still hanging in there. She's out of the hospital now but still not back up to speed. 2. my friend/roommate is getting married so I'll be taking a trip to northern California this coming January (I'm loads excited!!!). One of the things I've been busy with is doing the addressing of the invitations for her... which I'll probably never do again for someone lol!! 3. If I stick to my desired timeline I'll be moving back to Wisconsin in 6 months!! 4. Last but not least: MY EPIC FRIEND ARRIVES IN 10 DAYS!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!! We're gonna rip up the town together!!!!!!!!

Not much else to really say right about now. I'll be going through my inbox slowly but surely (over 3500 deviations/messages to go through). Can't wait to see what you've all shared.

About me... Well... I guess I'll start off with I'm a female human who likes a wide range of just about anything. Food, air, fire, art, wine, cheese (mmm cheese). I'm a goof ball but have my serious moments. I'm a very amateur artist and I do what I do as a hobby and self expression. I joined dA as a means to share my art, see the art of others and to discuss it.

I've got the painting space now so there will be the subsequent increase in painting submissions. I'm still working on my photography and am pleased with the progress that I've been making. I've also begun some work on some conceptual series so hopefully one day I'll have those done and submitted for your viewing pleasures.

If you want to know more about the infinite tangles of my mind hire me a shrink...or just ask, I may know the answer to your question. :)
